I have been taking Mounjaro for just over 6 months still on 5mg and losing weight steadily (5 stone). I was not diabetic, I was advised to do this as I need a double ankle replacement and I have other mobility/neouroligical issues.
For around 10 days now I have had bouts of sickness & diaherra accompanied by a grumbly stomach and tiredness as I am dehydrated. I don’t think this is pancreatitis as there is no pain. Of course it may not be related to the Mounjaro at all. Buy just wondering if anyone has had the same problem?
I haven’t taken this weeks dose yet, but I do want to keep taking it.
Yes I had similar. I had pretty much sailed through several months of mounjaro. Steady weight loss, hardly any side effects except fatigue. Stuck to a food and exercise regime that worked for me so rarely deviated from that. Then out of nowhere I got a bad bout of gastro issues. On and off really for about a month. I hadn’t increased my dose, was 7.5 mg at that time so I was perplexed. I was also worried that I had damaged my pancreas or gall bladder. Definitely thought about stopping as I couldn’t live like that. Then as suddenly as it started, it stopped thankfully. Still no idea what it was all about. During the worst of it I took pesto bismol and sipped water with electrolytes. It has never returned and I’m now 45 weeks in, 4 stone down and now in maintenance. Good luck with your continued journey and hopefully this is just a temporary blip for you.
That happened to me , all tests from dr so only thing was mounjaro. I have come off it for a week or so then go back on 2.5 again to see if the rest on my stomach does me good . Will use will power instead and see how I go
