Hi - I’ve been using for 12 weeks and I have just changed provider due to current costs and I’ve still not had my order approved (my own fault for not checking how long it would take ) so I should jab tonight but it’s not looking likely.
Has anyone missed a full week and just picked up where they left off the following week ?

Hi, My provider advised that if I missed a dose, it was OK to take your next dose up to 4 days late then take the next dose on your regular day. Don’t take doses within three days of each other, so if you are 5 or more days late, wait and take the next one on your regular day. If you leave it too long, you may have to drop a dose or restart at 2.5

Hi Nicky, the guidelines say ‘If more than 4 days have passed, skip the missed dose and administer the next dose on the regularly scheduled day. In each case, patients can then resume their regular once weekly dosing schedule.’ Hope that helps.
As long as you don’t leave it more than 2 weeks just carry on when your next dose is due. If you skip more than 2 weeks they recommend you step down a dose for a month then back up. I assume this is to control potential side effects.
Personally I would just take the dose when pen arrives. Have you thought about the 5th dose via a syringe?
You could also take a bit less by doing less clicks. All depends which dose you are on.
If for instance, if on the 7.5mg. Could do only 30 clicks, then 4 days later, another 30 clicks. Taking just half a dose with 4 days in between. Then wait 7 days before your next full dose of 7.5.

Sometimes I have had to take my dose early because it wasn’t strong enough. Consequently my days have changed.
